Hanging on for De Gea

-If all goes well, theDavid de Geasigning saga should reach its conclusion this week. This is what both the goalkeeper and Real Madrid would like to see happen, as they have worked hard at making this story have a happy ending. However, it isn't just up to them.
De Gea wants to get everything sorted out as soon as possible in order to avoid reporting for duty on 6th July, something Louis Van Gal has assured all his players must do. The Manchester United manager is not making things easy for his keeper. The Dutchman doesn't want to even talk about the possibility of receiving less than €40 million and also wants to have found a replacement for the Spaniard before letting him go. Without doubt, he is playing tough - perhaps as repayment for the hard time he was given by 'Los Blancos' in reeling in Ángel Di María.
If De Gea wants pens put to paper sooner rather than later, Real Madrid do so even more, as they need their new shotstopper ready for the club's big tour of Australia and China that kicks off on 12th July. Moreover, De Gea is to be a key part of Rafa Benítez's project and the new manager wants him through the Bernabéu's doors yesterday.
